Yard Drop-Off Service
Our yard in Frankton, Hamilton, is open six days a week, Monday – Friday and Saturday morning, for our drop-off service.
Open to both the public and all industrial/commercial customers.
How does it work?
Bring in your scrap metal for recycling, and we will pay you for it. Not only do you not have to pay for dumping fees, but it is also a sustainable and environmentally friendly way to recycle – instead of going into a landfill.
One of our team will be available to help with safely unloading. And then weigh your scrap metal with onsite certified-weighing facilities.
We can accept the majority of your metal recyclables. We can buy a lot of household items: whiteware (fridges, stoves), hot water cylinders, roofing iron, retired sheds, fencing wire, wiring, pipes; automotive: car parts, car batteries (please see prohibited items list) catalytic converters, old mag wheels and aluminium cans. If you’re unsure about what we accept, please give us a call, send us an email or fill out the contact us form. Check out our prohibited items under the health and safety page.
We can arrange payment in either cash or direct credit. We are licensed under the Secondhand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 2004; we will only purchase scrap metal alongside New Zealand Government-approved identification. Precious metals and high-theft products will be stringently checked – we do not accept stolen goods. We do not keep large quantities of cash on our premises, and large payments will be paid via direct credit into a nominated bank account.
